Built on Hollow-Fiber Membrane Technology

Semicom membranes are built on an asymmetric hollow-fiber architecture. A robust support structure provides mechanical integrity, while an ultra-thin selective layer performs the separation. 

Thousands of fibers are densely packaged to maximize membrane area per cartridge, enabling high throughput in compact skids. Module internals can be configured to match site-specific constraints – including allowable pressure drop, target methane retention / CO2 removal duty, and required product specifications.

Fiber materials and bundle construction are selected for harsh gas service, including elevated pressures, elevated temperatures, and exposure to challenging components that can degrade conventional membranes. The result is a practical way to achieve the required separation with lower installed complexity and competitive CAPEX per unit of treated gas.
